As a Chartered Senior Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience, I’ve had the chance to work with people of all ages—helping them recover from injuries, manage long-term conditions, and help them get back to doing the things they love. I’ve worked in both hospital inpatient settings and out in the community, and each has shaped the way I practice today.
Working with the NHS and in the community really opened my eyes to the importance of flexibility and thinking outside the box. It’s not just about treating a condition—it’s about knowing where people are in their lives, understanding their routines, and figuring out what will work best for them at home. Focusing on things like mobility, strength, pain relief, and day-to-day function means I can help people stay independent, avoid hospital stays, and get back home sooner if they’ve been admitted.
A big part of my role also involves prevention—running falls prevention programmes, offering advice and support to families and carers, and helping people make changes that keep them well in the long run. It’s about bringing care into people’s homes and communities, making rehab more accessible, and supporting healthier, more active lives.
Over the years, I’ve learned that no two people are the same. I take pride in offering personalised care that combines proven techniques with a kind, hands-on approach.
Through tailored one-to-one therapy, my vision is to offer a specialised and personalised service to help people build strength, confidence, and independence that lasts.
